Dr. Jes was born and raised in Southern California. She graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo with her Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology.  She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic earning her Doctor of Chiropractic degree.  In 2010, while visiting friends in the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Jes decided to open her practice in Washington.

 

She was introduced to chiropractic care while in high school. She was an avid volleyball and soccer player, and the wear and tear on her body eventually led her to seek out relief through chiropractic care. Her interest in Pediatric and Prenatal Chiropractic was sparked when she went on a mission trip to Peru while in graduate school. In Peru, Dr. Jes was able to see the amazing effect that chiropractic can have on the ever-changing bodies of young children and expectant mothers.

 

Dr. Jes is certified in Webster Perinatal Technique, a specific analysis and adjustment designed to restore proper balance and function to the pelvis in preparation for birth. She has previously and is currently taking additional post-doctoral training in Pediatric and Prenatal Chiropractic through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA).   In addition to Webster technique, she is also well versed in Activator, Thompson and Diversified Techniques.
